Trusting God's Timing
“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time...”
Eccl 3:11
Devotional
Waiting is one of the hardest things to do—especially when it comes to love. You see others getting engaged, married, building families… and it’s easy to wonder, “Lord, when will it be my turn?”
But here’s the beautiful truth: God is not slow. He is precise. His timing is not random or careless—it is perfect, even when it doesn’t match your expectations.
You may feel overlooked, but you’re not forgotten. You may feel like you’re falling behind, but God is still writing your story—and He’s not rushed. The season you’re in is not a punishment. It’s preparation.
While you wait, He is shaping you, strengthening you, and protecting you from less than His best. And at the same time, He’s preparing someone who will love you with patience, honor, and Christlike commitment.
So take a deep breath today. You don’t have to chase love or force timing.
You are deeply loved right now, and you can rest in His timing, even if you don’t yet understand it.
Prayer
Lord, I surrender my timeline to You.
I admit—it’s hard not knowing when or how love will come. But I choose today to release the pressure and trust that You are never late.
While I wait, prepare me to love well. Heal any impatience, fear, or comparison in my heart. Shape me into the woman You’ve created me to be. And prepare the one You have for me—guard their heart, grow their faith, and bring us together in Your perfect time.
I choose to rest, not strive. To trust, not fear. Because You are good—and Your timing is worth waiting for.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Becoming Whole in Christ
“And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.”
Col 2:10
Devotional
Our world often tells us that we’re missing something if we’re not in a relationship. That we’re incomplete until we find “the one.” But that’s not what God says.
In Christ, you are already whole. You are not a half waiting for another half. You are a complete, beloved, powerful daughter of the King—called, chosen, and equipped with purpose.
A relationship can be a gift, but it was never meant to be your identity. Your worth doesn’t increase with a wedding ring. It was settled on the Cross.
God wants to fill every part of your heart—not just the “single” part. He wants to restore your confidence, show you your beauty, and teach you that your joy doesn’t have to wait for someone else to arrive. You can live fully now.
Let this be a season where you discover how deeply known and loved you are by the One who created you—and find wholeness not in another person, but in Him.
Prayer
Jesus, You are the One who completes me. Not a relationship, not a future spouse—You.
Teach me to see myself the way You do: whole, valued, and dearly loved.
Help me release the lie that I’m missing something because I’m single. Fill every empty space in my heart with Your peace and purpose.
Let this season be one of deep growth, joy, and intimacy with You.
Make me secure in who I am, rooted in who You are.
And when love does come, may it be a beautiful addition—not the missing piece.
In Your perfect name, Amen.
Healing From the Past
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?”
Isaiah 43:18–19
Devotional
The past can be a heavy thing to carry. Whether it’s heartbreak, regret, shame, or disappointment, those memories can silently shape how we see love—and even how we see ourselves.
Maybe you’ve trusted someone who broke your heart.
Maybe you made choices you’re not proud of.
Or maybe you’re grieving a relationship you thought would last forever.
Whatever your story looks like, God isn’t asking you to pretend it didn’t happen—but He is inviting you to place it in His hands.
He is the God who makes all things new. He doesn’t just cover over brokenness—He transforms it. He can take the pain you never thought you'd get past and turn it into something redemptive and beautiful.
Healing isn’t about forgetting. It’s about choosing not to let the past define your future. It’s about trusting that God’s mercy is greater than your mistakes, and that His promises still stand—even after detours.
Let today be the day you release what’s behind you and begin walking forward in hope.
Prayer
God, I give You my past—every heartbreak, every mistake, every memory that still stings.
You see the places I’ve been and the pain I’ve carried, and still, You call me beloved.
Heal the parts of me I’ve tried to hide.
Undo the shame.
Break the chains of regret.
Wash over me with Your truth and remind me that I am not what I’ve done or what’s been done to me—I am Yours.
Give me courage to let go of what no longer serves me.
Give me eyes to see the new thing You’re doing, even when it feels slow.
Help me walk forward not in fear—but in freedom.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
