Day 1

Put God First

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Matthew 6:33

Devotional

Life in school can feel like a race that never slows down. Assignments pile up, exams bring pressure, and friendships and activities demand your energy. In the middle of this whirlwind, it is easy for prayer and time with God to slip lower and lower on your list of priorities. Yet Jesus gives us a powerful reminder: when you place God first, He brings order and peace to the rest of your life.

Putting God first does not mean neglecting your studies or responsibilities. It means inviting Him into everything you do—your classes, your friendships, your choices, and your dreams. It is choosing to start the day by seeking His wisdom before you seek the world’s approval. When you put Him at the center, you find that the stress begins to lose its grip, and your heart discovers a steadiness that grades and achievements alone cannot give.

You were not meant to carry the weight of school on your own. God promises to walk with you, to provide strength for what feels overwhelming, and to give peace where anxiety tries to take over. Making Him your first priority each day is not just an act of faith—it is an act of freedom.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for reminding me that when I seek You first, everything else falls into place. Help me to begin each day with You at the center of my heart. Give me wisdom for my studies, peace in my friendships, and strength for the challenges I face. Teach me to trust that Your presence will carry me through each part of school life.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 2

Wisdom for Every Lesson

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

James 1:5

Devotional

School is filled with lessons, but not all of them come from textbooks. You are learning how to study, how to manage your time, how to handle stress, and how to relate to people. Sometimes the challenge is not just memorizing facts but knowing how to live wisely in the middle of it all. God invites you to come to Him for wisdom, and He promises to give it generously.

Wisdom is more than good grades or clever answers. Wisdom is knowing how to respond when you are under pressure, how to choose friends who will build you up, and how to honor God with your words and actions. It is the steady voice inside that reminds you to pause before reacting, to pray before deciding, and to lean on God when life feels uncertain.

The good news is that you do not have to figure this out on your own. Every quiz, every friendship challenge, every difficult choice can be an opportunity to stop and say, “Lord, I need Your wisdom.” And He delights in answering that prayer. With His guidance, you can walk into your classroom, your relationships, and your future with a confidence that comes from knowing you are not relying on yourself alone.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for offering me wisdom when I ask. Teach me to lean on You in my studies and in my choices. Give me clarity when I feel confused, patience when I feel rushed, and understanding that goes beyond knowledge. Let my learning not only help me succeed in school but also shape me into the woman You are calling me to be.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 3

Strength for Hard Days

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

Philippians 4:13

Devotional

There will be days when school feels overwhelming. Maybe it is the weight of assignments and exams, or maybe it is the loneliness of feeling misunderstood by friends. Some days you wake up tired, anxious, and already questioning if you can make it through. It is in those moments that this verse speaks powerfully to your heart: you do not walk alone, and you do not have to depend on your own strength.

Christ offers you a strength that goes deeper than motivation or willpower. His strength carries you when your own energy runs out. It reminds you that no situation is too heavy, no test too difficult, and no day too long for Him to sustain you. This strength does not mean everything will be easy, but it does mean you will never be without His help.

Hard days can make you feel weak, but weakness is not failure. In fact, weakness creates space for God’s power to be seen in your life. Each time you lean on Him instead of yourself, you are learning to walk in the strength that never runs dry.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for being my strength when I feel weak. On days when I am overwhelmed, remind me that I do not face them alone. Fill me with Your power to keep going, not just to finish my work but to walk in peace and faith. Help me to trust that Your strength is enough for every hard day I face.
In Your name, Amen.
